BSAC is supporting affiliated clubs to improve their digital presence through a national club website programme, delivered in partnership with Rocca Creative Thinking. The programme gives clubs access to professionally built, modern websites – with BSAC contributing towards the setup cost to make participation more affordable.

What clubs receive

Each participating club receives a professionally set-up website with a comprehensive set of features designed specifically for BSAC clubs:

• A modern, mobile-friendly website with unlimited pages

• A bespoke landing page and enquiry form encouraging people to try diving or snorkelling, or to connect if already trained

• Easy-to-edit pages — no technical knowledge required

• A news area for sharing the latest updates and announcements

• Photo and video galleries, with optional integration with Instagram and YouTube

• Clear contact information for new enquiries and existing members

• A dedicated members’ area, including:

  • Upcoming events

  • Join / renew links

  • Other key links to bsac.com

• Social media links and feeds

• Google Analytics set up with goal tracking, so clubs can see how their website is performing

Websites are delivered and supported by Rocca Creative Thinking, specialists in digital platforms for membership-led and sporting organisations.

Cost and BSAC contribution

The standard setup cost for a new club website is £400 + VAT (£480 inclusive)

As part of this programme, BSAC contributes £155 towards the setup cost for each affiliated club (given to clubs as a credit note). That means a new club website would be £325 after contribution.

This contribution helps reduce the cost for clubs while ensuring a consistent, high-quality standard across the network.

Ongoing annual support cost

In addition to the one-off setup fee, there is a simple annual support and hosting cost:

£156 + VAT per year

This annual fee covers everything required to keep your club website running securely and smoothly, including:

• Secure website hosting

• Security certificate (SSL)

• Domain management

• Ongoing maintenance and platform updates

• Technical support from the Rocca team

There are no hidden costs, and clubs are not required to manage hosting or technical maintenance themselves.

How the programme works

• Clubs contract directly with Rocca for their website

• Rocca builds and supports the website for the club

• BSAC provides a £75 contribution towards the setup cost

• Clubs pay the remaining setup balance and the annual support fee

The BSAC contribution is applied automatically – no additional application is required.
