Phase 1: Boccia Competition Management System (BMS)

The first phase of our project introduced the Boccia Competition Management System (BMS), an advanced tool that handles all aspects of running a top-tier boccia event. From generating brackets and scoring matches to determining rankings, BMS offers a seamless and intuitive interface. This system allows event organisers to focus on delivering high-quality competitions without the logistical burdens, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from start to finish.

Phase 2: BMS as a Software as a Service (SaaS)

Building on the success of BMS, we have extended its capabilities by offering it as a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution. This innovative approach allows World Boccia to licence BMS to national federations for a fee, providing them with a reliable tool to conduct events according to World Boccia’s rigorous standards. The SaaS model not only ensures uniformity and excellence in event management but also generates additional revenue for World Boccia. This financial boost can be reinvested into the sport, promoting growth and development at all levels.

Phase 3: Membership Management

The final phase of our project involves our proprietary Membership Management solution ‘Cloudathlete’. This powerful tool enables World Boccia to efficiently manage the entry and administration of member nations for events. It covers essential logistics such as travel, accommodation, and catering for athletes with diverse needs. Additionally, it streamlines the classification of athletes, ensuring fair and organised competitions. By catering to the unique requirements of para athletes, our Membership Management solution enhances the overall event experience.

Together, these three phases represent a holistic solution for World Boccia. By integrating various aspects of their operations through our advanced software, we provide a unified platform that significantly enhances efficiency and effectiveness.
